Praise the butterlord, it has almost been a decade
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord now has a release date. Ahh we’ve been waiting to see those words since we were wee babes. The RPG strategy (and lord knows what other genres it fits in) will enter early access on March 31st on both Steam store and Epic Games Store.
Fans of the previous game, Mount & Blade: Warband, have been desperately waiting for news related to when the next game will release. A gameplay demo was provided back in 2017, and early last year a closed beta was given to some players to try out the multiplayer aspect of the game. It was also announced earlier that the game will be releasing this year. And now we have this, a proper date which people have been waiting for ever since the franchise hid in the shadows over the decade.
The Mount & Blade series can’t be described in an easy way, as the games are complex and feature rich strategic aspects to it. It’s built in a medieval world where you have the freedom to do anything, from becoming a humble merchant to becoming a king of all nations, leading armies hand picked by you and taking over individual places through a series of steps, it is your complete step into the olden times.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord will be the sequel to the original game, and will build upon the previous games theme. Ofcourse it will feature more diverse and expanded features, gameplay aspects, graphics, as well as introduce siege mechanics such as catapults and even crafting and diplomacy.
