Free Games: Assassin’s Creed Syndicate available free on Epic Store

Time to parkour around in old school London

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

The last week of February sees Assassin’s Creed Syndicate be free on the Epic Store. Along with it, the strategy game Faeria is also free, which was announced last week. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is yet another AAA game given away for free by Epic Store consecutively, as it follows the last week’s game Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

As we all know about our Assassin’s Creed games, Syndicate was the last of the 5 AC games that were released before the series went on an year long break. It was released in 2015 and still holds a good place in people’s hearts. The game is set in the Victorian phase of London, where you as the hero are fending off Templars from gaining control fo the land. Assassin’s Creed really loves revolutions doesn’t it.

The game, despite being 5 years old, still has a reputation and sells for $37.79 on Steam. It boasts mostly positive reviews and is an exquisite presence in the AC series.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Faeria are available till February 27, after which they’ll be replaced by InnerSpace. InnerSpace is a beautiful exploration game by PolyKnight Games, and it will stay free till May 5.

Epic has been giving away these free games since 2019, handing out 70 games to people. Their generosity has helped them rack up more than a 100 million users of Epic Games Store. Now I get why they give away free games. Business 101.
