Free Games: 6 Batman games available for free on the Epic store

Celebrate this Batman Day by revisiting some of the best Batman games

Batman Games Epic

Epic has gone ahead and really given us the big one. After giving countless free games every week, Epic Games decided to go all out here. Six Batman games are now available for free on the Epic Store. Three of these include the trio of Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham games. While the other three include the more family friendly Lego Batman games. To get these games, just go to the Epic Store, sign up and make the games yours. Epic Games is doing this to celebrate the 80 years of our capped justice warrior (not a social justice warrior). There are leaks surrounding Fortnite as well, we might even see a Fortnite x Batman this week. The offer lasts till September 26th so be sure to get it before that.

Free games on the Epic Store:

  • LEGO® Batman™ 2: DC Super Heroes

Batman Games free

As Epic Games has a tradition of giving a child friendly game when there is an M-rated game, the Lego Batman Trilogy is also an example of that. The Arkham Trilogy is rated M due to violence and naughty thingies in it, and therefore can’t be accessed by children. So to not disappoint the younglings, Epic is giving away 3 Lego Batman games as well. They are obviously more child friendly, cause well they’re Lego and are rated E.

The Batman Arkham series are obviously more interesting to many people as they really make you feel like Batman. If you’re looking for some great stealth and bashing skulls of baddies, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City offer that. Arkham Knight introduced some many new mechanics, such as the amazing Batmobile and more open world aspects. Although it didn’t hit the charts as much as the first two games, it still is a gem of a game. It is also available for free to PS Plus members on the PS4, along with Darksiders 3.

On the other hand, we have Lego Batman. This one’s for when you just wanna sit back, relax and play a game with a cartoonish style and a humorous story. It is also a great game if you want to play it with a friend, or maybe your child. Just grab two controllers, or use the same keyboard like back in the days, and play around as Batman, Robin and much more. I’m still a kid at heart and I admit I am more happier for the Lego Batman Trilogy.

In conclusion, Batman games are great and they are free on the Epic Store so go ahead and grab all six of them before 26th of September.

The next week will bring us two more free games, one being the game Everything, and the other game being Metro 2033 Redux. We’ll talk more about those next week.
