Prepare for some Star Wars Jedi action with Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy arriving soon
This one’s a news for the Star Wars fans. No it’s not a news about the upcoming major release Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but rather classic games. These classics are making their way to your portable hybrid console Nintendo Switch and ofcourse the Playstation 4. The recent Nintendo Direct revealed that the classic 2002 game, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, will be making it’s way to the Nintendo Switch. The date is probably going to be 24th of September. It’s not that far now ain’t it. Not only that, but it’ll come out for the Sony Playstation 4 too.
Jedi Outcast, although not canon, is a very beloved game amongst the Star Wars gaming community. The game was largely popular for it’s amazing multiplayer, although the single player story is well written too. The sad news is that only the single player mode will be coming out on the Switch. Worry not though, the single player is lengthy enough to give you enough satisfaction. Especially when you’ll be playing as Kyle Katarn and at some point will tag along with Luke Skywalker as well. Just be careful mentioning fathers around him though.
The next game to come out on the Switch will be Jedi Academy. Here’s some good news, the game will have the multiplayer which was much liked back in the days. The bad news is that you have to wait for the big 2020. Jedi Academy won’t be coming out this year, and we’ll probably see it early 2020. But look on the bright side, if you don’t own a Nintendo Switch yet you can save some money till then and buy it along with the game. That is if you are such a dedicated fan of Star Wars.
