Time to go fast! Here comes the Saint of Altra
An upcoming Warframe update brings a new Warframe in the game. Introducing Gauss, a speedy boy who generates kinetic energy to go super fast and damage enemies. Every Warframe in the game adds something new to the overall gameplay of the game, and Gauss brings a series of changes likewise to the Saint of Altra update.
Abilities and Characteristics:
Never stop moving. Keeping Gauss in motion generates an electrical current that charges his Speed Gauge, helping Shields recharge up to 80% faster, and decreasing recharge delay up to 80%.
Burst into a hyper-sprint to bowl over enemies and charge the battery, or crash into solid objects to generate a powerful shockwave. Hold to rush continuously.
Generate armor plating that converts a portion of absorbed Kinetic Damage into Energy, and protects Gauss from being staggered or knocked down. Damage Resistance is relative to battery level.
Siphon kinetic energy from the area, charging the battery and inflicting Cold Status on nearby enemies. Hold reverses the process, draining the battery and inflicting Heat Status on nearby enemies.
Push Gauss’ battery beyond the redline, supercharging his Abilities and setting Fire Rate, Attack Speed, Reload Speed, and Holster Rate into overdrive. When past the redline, bolts of arcing electricity dance periodically from Gauss, exploding en masse when the ability is deactivated.
Gauss isn’t the only new thing in the game though. Disruption mode is getting wider spread. Disruption missions are now popping up on new planets with new missions types and factions. It’s all because Alad V, the Corpus scientist, has made a business move by mass selling his tech to people. The update brings more rewards and new items for whoever is willing to do the missions.
Disruption nodes are appearing in places such as :
- Corpus Outpost
- Grineer Settlement
- Orokin Moon
- Grineer Kuva Fortress
- Grineer Galleon
For the lovers of fashion and customizations, there’s also new fashion items, weapon skins and collectibles. Gauss’s coming also brings new weapon skins such as Acceltra, Akarius and Gauss’s Syndana the Altra Syndana. Show off your looks with those amazing designs, and share them with your friends too. The Look link and Mod link feature will allow you to share your looks, designs and mod combinations with friends and other people. This will allow others to easily import your links and adopt your designs.
Increased access to Riven Mods is provided to players, with the limit going up to 120 from 90.
Lastly there’s more cosmetics such as a new infested dojo decoration, if you’re into weird and bizarre looking things which resemble terrible diseases. If you want to get your inner musician out, get the Shawzin Hero emote, which will be purchasable in the shop. Unless you already own Shawzin Decoration, in which case you’ll get the emote for free. Become the bard and play some nice tunes for your friends before heading into battle.
Make sure you get to enjoy all these new things in the Saint of Altra update that is to arrive this week on PC.
