Doom Eternal

Release date – November 22

As the DOOM Slayer, you return to find Earth has suffered a demonic invasion. Raze Hell and discover the Slayer’s origins and his enduring mission to rip and tear…until it is done.

Hell on Earth, that’s what Doom Eternal is bringing to our precious world (not literally though). Prepare to slay a buck-load of demons in the upcoming addition to the Doom games series. This could easily be one of the biggest new games of 2019. Releasing on the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, Doom Eternal will feature Battlemode which is Doom’s own take on multiplayer.

While we are on the topic of Doom, Bethesda made a surprise release of the first three Doom games on Nintendo Switch a while ago. The games had online features on the Switch which made fans angry, but they were required in case people wanted to earn rewards and items in Doom Eternal. So we are likely to see special achievements and items in Doom Eternal which are unlocked through playing the older games.

Although the game will be releasing on the Bethesda game launcher, it’ll also be available on Steam. So there’s no need to get angry or start a riot fellow gamers. And certainly no reason to get mad at Epic getting exclusive rights to the game.

Halo Master Chief Collection

Release date – TBA

This one’s a jolly good news for PC gamers, as this bundle of Halo games is finally coming to PC. Albeit facing a terrible launch, the Halo Master Chief Collection slowly brought it’s position up by becoming an amazing bundle of previous Halo games.

Although the release date is not yet announced, 343 Industries has promised that the games will have great mouse and keyboard support, as well as be playable in 4K resolution and have HDR support. Not only that, but there will be multiplayer seasons with their own themes where the players will be able to progress and unlock rewards.

The games will be released chronologically, from Reach, then Halo 1 and so on.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Initially a planned DLC for Hollow Knight, ended up turning into a whole new game. It isn’t often we see a DLC become a whole sequel to a game, so much for “downloadable content” right? Hollow Knight Silksong will feature Hornet as a playable character in a whole new setting with over 150+ new enemies. Not only that, but there will be a whole new quest system. And ofcourse, the thing that made Hollow Knight an amazing experience, there will be new amazing soundtracks and boss themes.
